Summary

This "Join A Union Pamplet" has been translated into Chinese. The pamphlet is designed to address major issues and questions asked by many non-English speaking background workers in relation to unions in Australia. The pamphlet covers: What trade unions are; How Australian trade unions operate; Services provided by unions to workers from culturally diverse backgrounds; What unions have won for workers in Australia; and What unions are currently able to do for workers. The pamphlet's format provides a space for organisers to insert their own name and the contact details of their union prior to ditributing the pamphlet to potential members.
